Fundraising Events

The tuition for each Pillar student is covered by tuition paid by the student’s school district. But to pursue projects that go “above and beyond” the minimum requirements, we depend on fundraising dollars.

Fundraising has allowed us to build new preschool rooms, a student medical center, sensory room, vision room and library at the elementary school, and the new computer center and media studio at the high school. All of the funds raised through these events go to the particular school’s Annual Fund and support items that directly impact our students.

Honoring Kelly Marx & Pillar’s Healthcare Heroes
October 21, 2020, 6-9 PM

Kelly Marx has served on Pillar Care Continuum’s Board of Trustees for 60 years of its 67 years. At the time he was introduced to the organization, it was operating from donated space in the basement of Orange Memorial Hospital. The charity, started by local families looking for services for their children with cerebral palsy, had no building and no paid staff. Desperate to develop programs but without any resources, Kelly was asked to help fundraise. He accepted the challenge and over the last 60 years has raised well over $25 million.
