Behavioral Intervention

At Pillar Schools, we pride ourselves in serving a diverse population. Each student has unique and complex needs and we work hard to ensure that each student reaches their full potential.

As part of our comprehensive educational programming, behavioral supports and services are available to enhance each student’s personal development and growth. Behavioral supports may include but are not limited to: Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS), Differential Schedules of Reinforcement, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and Individualized Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs).

These programs are developed and closely monitored by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our BCBA assesses students, collects data and develops recommendations or an intervention plan that is discussed with the family and staff and approved by the IEP team. Intervention plans are reviewed regularly. Ongoing supervision of strategies and staff training is also provided.
