Pillar Schools Launches Home Technology Access Program, Each Student Receives Personal Laptop

We are proud to introduce the Home Technology Access Program, a new initiative designed to support student learning beyond the classroom and strengthen the connection between school and home.

Through this program, more than 180 students with disabilities have received a personal laptop. Each device is equipped with adaptive technology, switches, and customized supports tailored to meet individual learning needs.

This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Pillar Schools staff and Pillar Care Information Technology team. The project required close coordination to ensure each student received technology that is accessible, personalized, and ready to support learning at home.

Access to technology plays a critical role in helping students build independence and engage with the world around them. By providing tools designed for each student’s unique needs, the Home Technology Access Program creates new opportunities for meaningful learning and continued growth.

The program reflects Pillar Care’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities through lifelong support that promotes independence, growth, and participation.

By bringing familiar learning tools into the home, this initiative helps students continue building skills in engaging and meaningful ways.

We look forward to seeing the impact this program will have as students continue to grow, learn, and thrive.
