Thanks to the hard work of the Pillar Schools community, over $85,000 was raised to support special programs and the purchase of therapeutic equipment for students with disabilities. The funds were raised during the Wheelin’ n’ Walkin’ Challenge, our annual peer-to-peer fundraiser that brings new opportunities to students with disabilities. Community members call on their family, friends, and colleagues to be a part of the Pillar Schools mission to enhance the lives of students with disabilities. Because of their support, students will have access to programs like equine therapy, which utilizes horses to help stabilize an individual’s balance and strengthen their core.
